Help Mom and Dad stay home longer
Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth installs voice-activated lights, video doorbells, smart locks, and the everyday tools that let an aging parent stay independent at home. Done with patience. Explained in plain language. Backed by a forty-year career in technology and a national Aging in Place certification.
What we do
Most of what families need lives in three jobs:
- Get the senior on the phone with family, hands-free. A voice-activated screen on the kitchen counter that calls the daughter in Houston by saying her name.
- Make the front door safer and simpler. A video doorbell, a smart lock with a keypad, no more "I lost my keys" panic.
- Take some worry off the family. A smoke detector that texts the kids if it goes off. A camera at the back door, never in the bedroom. A motion-activated light on the path to the bathroom.
We build the system around the senior, not around a brochure.

Why Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth
An aging-in-place specialist, not a generic IT shop. The CAPS credential from the National Association of Home Builders means I trained specifically on the home and the daily life of someone aging at home. I notice the same things a good remodeler does — the dim hallway, the unreachable light switch, the 2 a.m. path to the bathroom. The technology layers onto that.
I am direct about what I won't do. I don't sell anything I don't believe will help. I won't put a camera in a bedroom or bathroom. I won't take on financial setup, electrical work behind walls, or anything that needs a license I don't have. The boundaries are on every quote.
I live here. I'm based in Fairview. I serve Allen, Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Lucas, Wylie, and the surrounding communities. When something goes wrong, I'm twenty minutes away.
What it looks like to work with me
- Free 30-minute phone consultation. I ask about the senior, the home, and what's prompting the call. By the end I either recommend an in-home visit, a one-hour fix, or send you somewhere better.
- In-home assessment, $99. Credited toward any package booked within 30 days. I walk the home with the senior leading. I leave a written proposal within 48 hours.
- Install and training. Patient. Repeated as many times as needed. The senior demonstrates the one thing they wanted most before I leave.
- Follow-up. A call within 30 days, support included for the package window, optional Always On monthly support after that.
Ready to talk?
The first call is free, 30 minutes, and there's no obligation. If I'm not the right person, I'll say so and point you somewhere better.
