Smart Tech. Smart Living.
Helping seniors, their caregivers, or anyone intimidated by technology
We're a husband-and-wife team who built this for our own family first. Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth sets up and teaches the technology that helps a person stay in the home they love, with less daily worry for the family. We also teach the technology basics to the everyday user. It starts with a plain-language plan for the whole home, not a pile of gadgets, backed by a forty-year engineering career.
The Technology Wellness Assessment is $199. It's about a 90-minute visit and a written plan you own, credited toward any work you book within 30 days.
Why we started this
My wife Nicole and I have worked together for over 20 years. I was always her Tier 1, 2, and 3 helpdesk, ranging from phones and computers to any device in her home she needed help with. So when she fell ill, I took the same approach using technology. Nicole is now a double organ-transplant survivor. When everyday tasks suddenly became exhausting, I reimagined our whole home with technology so she could live more comfortably and independently. When Nicole's mother had a stroke, we did it again, this time tailored to her needs.
I created this company to allow me to channel my 40 years of technology experience into helping others.

Just need help with tech?
You don't have to be a senior. We help anyone who finds technology frustrating, patiently and without judgment. No project required.Problems we solve
"Mom keeps the house dark and trips at night." Lighting that comes on by itself on the path to the bathroom, and turns off with one word at bedtime.
"Dad can't hear the phone." Every room becomes answerable by voice, with video calls to family on an easy screen and no tiny buttons.
"If something happens, can she reach anyone?" A fast, hands-free way to reach family or help by voice, from any room. (Honest note: this is not a monitored medical alert. For a guaranteed response use a monitored service, and in an emergency dial 911.)
"They keep getting scam calls and texts." We sit down and teach, plainly, how to spot what to ignore and what's real.
"I live far away and I worry." A quiet eye on the house, with a heads-up to you if the freezer warms up or there's a leak, plus easy video check-ins.
"The Wi-Fi is terrible and nothing works." We fix the foundation first, so the Wi-Fi actually reaches the whole house and everything else works.
"Honestly, I just find all this stuff frustrating." You're not behind, and you're not alone. We sit with you at your pace and make your own phone, TV, and computer make sense. No judgment, no upsell.

We start with your home, not a box
Most companies sell you a box. We start with your home and your life. Growing older shouldn't mean giving up the comfort, independence, and memories that come with living at home. So we look at the whole picture, then set up only what earns its place.
It begins with a friendly visit and a simple written plan you own. We look at the Wi-Fi, the devices already in the home, the lighting and any trip hazards, scam and password safety, where a little technology would help most, and how the family stays in touch. From there, we build in whatever order makes sense for you.
What we do, and how it works
We design a setup around the person: from a simple first step to a whole aging-in-place home, plus Teach Me help with the devices you already own, and a quiet eye on the house for a water leak, a warming freezer, or a room that's too cold. Everything is priced after the assessment, so you only pay for what fits. Optional support plans keep it all running and give the family someone to call — see our services and support plans.
It's four simple steps: a free 30-minute call to understand the situation, then a $199 Technology Wellness Assessment with a written plan you own, then we build what you approve at a price agreed before any work begins, and finally ongoing help your way, by the hour or on a plan. The senior leads the whole way, and the $199 is credited toward work booked within 30 days — read the full process.

We coordinate licensed partners for licensed trades (electrical, HVAC and thermostats, cameras and locks), and we don't provide fall detection or medical-alert monitoring. Any household alerts (leak, freezer, temperature) and scam coaching are a best-effort help, not a guaranteed monitoring or protection service. How this works.
