Privacy Policy

Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth, LLC ("Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth," "SRIT," "we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of every senior, family member, and visitor we work with. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it.
The short version: we sell nothing, share nothing with marketers, and delete account credentials within 30 days of finishing your project. The longer version is below.

1. What we collect
We collect only what we need to do the job and follow up afterward.
From visitors to this website
This website is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We do not run our own analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising tags. Your browser may exchange basic technical information with Cloudflare (such as IP address and request headers) for the standard purpose of delivering the page and protecting the site from abuse. That information is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
From people who contact us
When you call, text, email, or fill out a form to schedule a consultation, we collect:
- Your name and the senior's name
- Phone number and email address
- City or neighborhood
- A brief description of what's prompting the call
From clients during an engagement
When you become a client, we may also collect:
- Mailing address (the home where work will be done)
- Names and contact information for designated family members
- The senior's Amazon, Apple, or Google account credentials, only when needed to install or configure devices
- Wi-Fi network name and password
- Photos of rooms or devices, only when relevant to the install (never of people, and never in bedrooms or bathrooms)
- Notes from the in-home assessment and proposal
- Payment information processed by our payment provider (see below)
We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, or government identifiers.
2. How we use it
We use the information collected above only to:
- Schedule and deliver the services you've asked for
- Communicate with you and your designated family members
- Send proposals, invoices, and follow-up reminders
- Configure devices on the senior's behalf (and only with consent)
- Maintain the workmanship warranty and Always On support window
- Comply with applicable laws and accounting requirements
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the services you've engaged us for.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with marketers, data brokers, or any third party for their independent use.
We share limited information only with the service providers we need to operate, and only to the extent each provider needs to do its job:
- Payment processing. We use Square and/or Wave to send invoices and accept payment. They receive your name, email, billing address, and the amount charged. They do not receive your account credentials or in-home notes.
- Email and scheduling. Our email and calendar tools are operated by mainstream cloud providers under standard business agreements.
- Encrypted password vault. Account credentials are stored in a reputable encrypted vault product (currently 1Password) for the duration of the engagement.
- Cloudflare Pages. Hosts this website.
We may also disclose information when required by law (a valid subpoena, court order, or comparable legal process) or when necessary to protect the safety of a person or property.
4. How long we keep it

5. How we protect it
- Account credentials and Wi-Fi passwords are stored only in an encrypted password vault, never in plain-text email or notes.
- Our laptops use full-disk encryption and require multi-factor authentication.
- We carry cyber liability insurance in addition to general liability and a service bond.
- We do not transport printed credentials between sites; if a credential is needed at a job, it is accessed live from the vault and not written down.
No security system is perfect. If there is ever an incident that affects your information, we will notify you promptly and explain what happened.
6. Cameras, microphones, and the home
When we install cameras or microphones at your direction, the owner of the system is you (or the senior) — not Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth. We do not retain access to live feeds or recordings after the install is complete unless you specifically request remote support and grant temporary access through the device's own sharing controls.
We do not install cameras or microphones in bedrooms or bathrooms. Ever, without exception.
If a family member asks for monitoring the senior has not agreed to, we decline. The senior is the client.
7. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Show you what information we have about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements like tax records)
- Stop contacting you for any non-essential reason

If you are a Texas resident, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) may give you additional rights against larger businesses; Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth is well below the size threshold the TDPSA applies to, but we voluntarily extend the same access, correction, and deletion rights described above to all clients.
8. Children
Senior IT of Dallas-Ft Worth serves adult households. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links
Our website may link to third-party sites — Amazon product pages, hardware manufacturers, our payment provider, and so on. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for active clients, send a brief email summarizing what changed. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
